パレスチナの虐殺に加担する企業への抗議行動に参加する前に、わたしたち３人は、高麗博物館、女たちの戦争と平和資料館（wam）を訪れた。
百年前の虐殺現場を描いた絵巻からはじまり、女たちの戦争と平和資料館では、侵略戦争に組み込まれた日本軍性奴隷制、加害の歴史資料や証言に学ぶことができる。抑圧された人々の側に立って日本の男社会で果敢に闘い続けた記者、松井やよりさんの膨大な全仕事(〜12/24日まで)の展示に励まされる。
「女性国際戦犯法廷」を彫ったユキさんの版画も届けることもできた。
そして最後に、赤い涙。
読み上げられる名前は幼い命ばかり。
命の重みが感じられる場になっていた。
学生やパレスチナにルーツがある方々がデモで出会い、企画された。
アクティヴィズムフォビアな日本において、だれもが参加しやすいかたちの直接行動を考えてくれて尊敬と感謝しかない。
軍や警察、新聞社が流す流言を信じて「ふつうの人々」が虐殺に加担してゆく…
帝国主義、植民地主義による差別と支配の構造が引き起こす暴力が、百年後の今、この時も目の前で起きている。
時計が逆回転しているかの日々に戦慄して、この間、なにも集中できなかったけれども、学びつづけて、表現につなげていきたい。

wamに展示されている従軍慰安婦の一人ひとりのあまりにも凄惨な証言を前に、この史実をなかったと言う歴史修正主義者と政権に心底怒りが湧く。
未だに謝罪すらできない国なのだけれど、私たち市民の意識でこの現状を動かしていかないといけないんだと思う。
植民地主義や人種差別が今、剥き出しの状態で目の前にある。
全世界が見ている中で今行われているイスラエルによるパレスチナへの虐殺行為を支持している国はかつての宗主国だった国々でもある。
私たち日本人は広くアジアを侵略した加害者であり、この虐殺に決して無関係ではない。
歴史から学び、知性でもって暴力に向きあっていきたいと思う。

現在も起きている自民族中心主義による軍事侵攻はかつての大日本帝国と重なり、尊厳が否定された暴虐非道の限りを尽す「個人」の愚かな行為に憤りを覚えます。更に事実を都合よく捻じ曲げ突き進む歴史修正主義を継続している姿勢にも驚きを隠せません。
過去の出来事から学ぶことで、権力の行使による不正に抵抗する手段としての版画に役立てたいと思いました。

Before participating in a protest against companies complicit in the Palestinian genocide, the three of us visited the Korea Museum and the Women’s Active Museum on War and Peace (wam).
Starting with picture scrolls depicting massacre scenes from a hundred years ago. At the Women’s Active Museum on War and Peace, you can learn about the Japanese military sexual slavery that was incorporated into the war of aggression, as well as historical documents and testimonies of the perpetrations. We are encouraged by the extensive exhibition of the entire body of work (until December 24th) by Yayori Matsui, a journalist who stood on the side of oppressed people and bravely fought in Japan’s male-dominated society.
We were also able to deliver Yuki’s print of the “International Women’s Criminal Tribunal.”
And finally, red tears.
The names that are read out are all young lives.
It was a place where you could feel the weight of life.
“Tears for Palestine” was organized by a group of students and people with Palestinian roots who met through demonstrations.
I have nothing but respect and gratitude for planning direct action in a way that makes it easy for everyone to participate in Japan, where there is a phobia of activism.
“Ordinary people” become complicit in the massacres by believing the rumors spread by the military, police, and newspapers…
A hundred years later, the violence caused by the structures of discrimination and domination caused by imperialism and colonialism is happening right before our eyes.
These days, it felt like as if the clock was spinning backwards, I was horrified and I couldn’t concentrate on anything, but I want to continue learning and try to express. (achakov)
Faced with the horrifying testimonies of each and every comfort woman on display at WAM, I am deeply angry at the historical revisionists and the government who claim that this historical fact did not exist.
We are still a country that cannot even apologize, but I think we, the citizens, need to use our consciousness to change this situation.
Colonialism and racism are now exposed in front of our eyes.
The countries that support Israel’s genocide against Palestine, which is currently being carried out while the entire world is watching, are also countries that were former colonial powers.
We Japanese are the perpetrators of the widespread invasion of Asia, and are in no way unrelated to this genocide.
I would like to learn from history and use my intelligence to face violence. (yuki)
