5月28日、メンバーのアキ(@an_aki_art )が、辺野古基地建設に反対する座り込み抗議に参加させていただきました。
2015年に東京でa3bcが作成し、その後辺野古・高江で張っていただいたバナーを持参したら、当日再び座り込み現場で掲げて下さいました。その際、スピーチをする時間もくださったので、全文を以下に記します。
座り込み抗議活動をされている皆さま、大変お世話になりました。参加させて頂き、感謝申し上げます。

On May 28, A3BC member Aki had the opportunity to participate in the protest against the construction of the base in Henoko. I brought the banner created by A3BC in 2015, which was then later displayed in Henoko and Takae. On May 28th protesters raised it once again at the sit-in. I was also given time to speak, which I share below.

2015年、a3bcは反基地・反ヘリパッド運動への応援の気持ちを込めてこちらの反基地バナー『沖縄鳥獣戯画』を作成しました。
沖縄の動物たちが海上保安庁を象徴する海猿を追い出そうとしています。
この版画を辺野古・高江で抗議運動を行なっている方たちに送ったところ、テントの前に掲げてくださいました。
ところがその後、反反対集団がこのバナーを切りつけ、引き裂いてしまいました。
しかし、引き裂かれたバナーは当時抗議活動をしていた方達が縫い合わせてくださり、このように修復されています。
修復されたものは新しく刷られたものと交換され、こちらは普段東京で保管しています。
10年以上たった本日、辺野古でまた日の目を見ることができました。
傷つけられても抵抗されている方々の優しさにより直され、こうして復活を遂げることができたのです。
本日来て、気づいたことがあります。
破壊されても再生し循環し続けるこの流れは、皆さんの活動そのものを表しているようにも見えるのです。
普天間は返還されないまま辺野古の工事は依然として続き、抵抗活動は冷たい視線を向けられ、反日、違反というレッテルを貼られ、散々な言われようで踏みにじられていますが、それでも基地という形で続く搾取に抗うべく、道路に、海に、血を通わせた体を置き、座り込みを続けています。
その姿は植民地主義に吸い取られる生を取り返しているように見えるのです。
しかし生活もあるので、破壊、再生、再生、破壊の繰り返しは何度もできることではありません。いい加減、基地建設と沖縄の戦場化をやめていただきたい。
私も東京に持ち帰って取り組みを続けたいと思います。
In 2015, A3BC created this anti-base banner, Okinawa Chōjū-giga, as a gesture of support for the anti-base and anti-helipad movements. It depicts the animals of Okinawa driving away the monkey who symbolizes the Japan Coast Guard.
When we sent this print to the protesters in Okinawa, they displayed it in front of their protest tent. Later, however, opponents of the movement slashed the banner apart.
Yet the banner survived. Protesters at the time carefully stitched it together, restoring it into the form you see today.
The restored banner was later replaced with a newly printed one, while this restored version has since been kept in Tokyo.
Today, more than 10 years later, it has once again seen the light of day here in Henoko.
Although once damaged, it was repaired through the kindness of those who continued to resist, and has come back to be here. This cycle of destruction and renewal seems to embody the very nature of your struggle.
Futenma has still not been returned, and construction at Henoko continues. Protesters are met with suspicion and hostility. They are labeled anti-Japanese, accused of breaking the law, and subjected to endless disparagement.
Yet despite all this, you continue to resist the exploitation that persists in the form of military bases. You continue to sit in by placing your living bodies on the roads and in the sea.
To me, this appears to be an effort to reclaim life itself from the forces of colonialism that seek to drain it away.
At the same time, people have lives to live. The cycle of destruction and renewal cannot be repeated indefinitely.
It is time to put an end to base construction and to the militarization of Okinawa.
I will take what I have witnessed here back with me back to Tokyo and continue the work there.
