《分解者｜Decomposers》（2023）140 × 131cm

小さな生き物や菌たちが互いに作用し合いながら夥しく活動することによって、地球上のありとあらゆる有機物は分解される。生命はそうして長い長い時間をかけて循環してきた。人間もその循環のなかに生きているはずだが、人間社会ではそのことを無視した排他的で無責任な経済活動が推し進められ、その結果、分解しきれないものが地球上に溢れてしまった。
この現状に対して、人間としてできることは何か、私たちは時間をかけて学び、話し合ってきた。そして、支配、抑圧をしてくる者たちから押しつけられる価値観やスローガンを解体し、不当な境界線を打ち砕く〈行為/思考〉をもって、私たちも「分解者」になろうという答えに行き着いた。

Tiny organisms have worked together to decompose all organic matters on earth. Decomposition has been essential for the cycle of life to endure on earth. Human beings are supposed to be a part of that cycle, but we have facilitated exclusionary economic growth, resulting in indecomposable matters overflowing on earth.
What must human beings do to confront the current state? A3BC studied and discussed the question, arriving at the conclusion that we must deconstruct the values and slogans imposed by the oppressors, uphold the spirit to destroy unjust borders, and become “decomposers” ourselves.
