Two collective members flew from Japan to visit @espaceno.ir as a part of “Carving Dissensus” exhibit. On November 2nd, we held a workshop to make original blockprinted shirts, as well as to carve the logo for Espace Noir collectively.
It was delightful to see people excited about their freshly printed adornments as well as to see them carve feelings of passion and fury in the form of a logo for Espace Noir, a welcoming haven for dissenters.
We are feeling welcomed by the kind subversive souls in mountains of Jura, left with a further conviction that transcultural exchange ought to happen in bottom-up ways – moving hands and helping one another, rather than in top-down – moving money and looking down on each other.
A3BC２名のメンバーがスイス・サンティミエに飛び、アナキストカルチュラルセンター「Espace Noir」で開かれた「Carving Dissensus」展の一環として版画ワークショップを開きました。
参加者の人たちがオリジナル版画Tシャツを作ったり、またはEspace Noirのロゴを彫りながら喜びと熱意をかたちにする姿に、私達自身も深く感銘を受けました。
アナキストの活動拠点Espace Noirで、ジュラ地方の山々にいる抵抗者達と協働して、文化間交流は金を動かして人を見下ろすトップダウンではなく、手を動かして支え合うボトムアップの形でこそ意味があると改めて実感しました。
