12月14日に @sawasawahouse にて実施した「アジア版画コレクティヴ大交流記:版画ワークショップ&報告会」に関わったすべての方々に感謝申し上げます。
今年 @mapping_woodblock と @pangrok_sulap によって企画されたサバ、マレーシアの旅「叙異記」はA3BCにとって心を根底から動かす体験となりました。日本から来たコレクティブとして、戦争加害や植民地主義に向き合い、またアジアの他のコレクティブ・アーティストとふれあう中で、自分たちの協働や連帯の在り方について深く見直す貴重な機会でした。
今回のワークショップ＆報告会で、尊敬するPangrok Sulapや江上賢一郎さん(@kenichiro_egami )、さわさわの皆さん、そしてさらに多くの方々と一緒に版画を刷り、体験を共有できたことで、旅の余韻が継続し、波及しながら、より広いコミュニティに共鳴していくのを感じました。

We would like to share our utmost gratitude to everyone who was involved with “A Chronicle of the Grand Gathering of Asian Woodcut Collectives: Printing Workshop & Reports from the Journey” on December 14 in community space & cafe Sawa Sawa.
“Narrating Localities”: our journey to Sabah, Malaysia, organized by Inter-Asian Woodcut Mapping and Pangrok Sulap in July, was a transformative experience for us A3BC.
As a collective coming from Japan, confronting our wartime aggressions and colonialism, and working with other collectives and artists across Asia, gave us a rare opportunity to reexamine our sense of friendship and solidarity.
Through printing woodblocks at the workshop and reflecting on our journey alongside Pangrok Sulap, Kenichiro Egami, our hosts at Sawa Sawa, as well as everyone who came, we felt that the experience from Sabah could continue, rippling outward and resonating with a wider community.
