Join us for a hands-on woodblock printmaking workshop led by two members of A3BC (Anti-War, Anti-Nuclear, and Arts of Blockprint Collective) from Tokyo.
What’s happening:
🪵 Print with ready-made woodblocks brought from Japan, including the “Carving Dissensus” design. You can combine different blocks to print on your T-shirts or bags or clothes of your choice!
✍️ Collaboratively carve the “Espace Noir” logo woodblock with the group
🎨 Bring a T-shirt, tote bag, or any fabric item you’d like to print on! (cotton or synthetic fabric) We will be using oil-based Black ink, so please wear clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty.
Other tools or materials will be provided by Espace Noir.
Whether you’re discovering printmaking or already familiar with it, it’s a good opportunity to share skills and experiences.

Participez à un atelier pratique de gravure sur bois animé par deux membres du collectif A3BC (Anti-War, Anti-Nuclear, and Arts of Blockprint Collective) venu·es de Tokyo.
Au programme :
🪵 Impressions à partir de gravures prêtes à l’emploi apportées du Japon, dont la gravure « Carving Dissensus ». Vous pourrez combiner différentes gravures pour vos impressions
✍️ Graver collectivement le logo « Espace Noir » sur une même pièce.
🎨 Apportez un T-shirt, un sac en toile ou tout autre tissu sur lequel vous souhaitez imprimer ! (coton ou synthétique) Nous utiliserons une encre noire à base d’huile, donc prévoyez des vêtements qui peuvent être salis.
Tous les autres outils et matériaux seront fournis par Espace Noir.
