In collaboration with the Inter-Asia Woodcut Mapping Group @mapping_woodblock , Espace Noir @espaceno.ir will present an exhibition of woodcut prints in its gallery from October 11 to December 19, 2025. Fifteen engaged collectives and artists from China, Japan, Indonesia, Taiwan, Malaysia, South Korea, the Philippines, and Hong Kong will participate, with their artworks displayed on our walls for over two months.
Four artists will be at Espace Noir during the exhibiton: one artist from East Asia Ecotopia, two artists from A3BC, and one artist from Dis-Print Kultur. During their residency, they will lead public woodcut workshops (More info coming soon).
The exhibition opening will take place on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Espace Noir. To mark the occasion, we’re preparing a soundstorm for the night : Potence (FR) and BTK (FR) are already confirmed to perform. Thomas Hallon Hallbert will also be offering a carving workshop during the day.
